| The Fabulous Five |
Like the five senses, we believe there are five core components essential to a happy and successful life. Like stimulating the five senses, we believe that focusing on these five core components will maximize the improvement in one's quality of life. Our "Fabulous Five" program helps consumers strengthen and develop skills in each area, through a mix of interactive on-site and off-site learning activities. Fab Five components are tailored to facilitate individual consumer progress and accommodate a variety of interests.
A "typical" day
"Today I got to help with our community garden, I learned about Egyptian culture, and I sang during karaoke. I'm ready for tomorrow because we're going to tour the Delta King in Old Sacramento."

1. Life Skills 
Self-advocacy is where it all starts. Do you know what you want and when you want it? In Life Skills, you'll learn ways to be in control of your world. It starts with being able to care for your own needs to the best of your ability and/or being able to communicate effectively enough to get the help you need. From there, the world opens up and more and more choices become available to you. Learn More
2. Education
Education celebrates the power of the mind. Come explore the world around us, refresh your memory, and learn something new and exciting in technology, science, history, geography and cultures of the world. Learn More
3. Community Access
Where are you going today? How will you get there? Who will you meet?
With Community Access, the possibilities are infinite. Being active and successful members of our community is an integral part of the AIM HIGHER experience.

4. Employment
Employment Skills Training is one of the most important components we provide. Whether you're goal is to make $10, $50, $100 or even more per month, we will work with you to help ensure that you have what it takes to earn what you want. Learn More
5. Arts & Expression
Everyone has an artistic spirit. Arts & Expression is the place to set yours free.
You'll visit museums, learn different dances, styles of art and theater, even practical hobbies that you can use at home.
